Andrew & Sara- Wedding

I had the honor of second shooting a few weeks ago for Mary Morrow here in OKC. Mary was AMAZING to work with and I had a blast.

Below are a few images of mine from Andrew and Sara's special day! We had a lot of fun in between the wedding and reception and went down to bricktown for some fun wedding party shots!!!

Happy in Love Couple- Engagement

It brought me great joy and honor to be asked to capture this couples engagement photos. I have known the future groom now for 15 years (wow that makes me feel old), in fact we went to high school together in McAlester and played tennis together. I lost touch with him after I graduated and then got to walk down the aisle with him in my best friends wedding.
John and Jennifer are amazing people. I got the honor of meeting Jennifer over dinner about 6 months ago and we hit it off instantly! She is a blast and John is a very very lucky guy (Jenn is also very lucky).
They asked me to shoot their wedding for them in September and we scheduled their engagement shoot for March... Of course we all know how March or April were here in Oklahoma, if it wasn't raining the wind was blowing so hard that there was no way we could have had any fun! Well FINALLY last week worked out for us. We decided to meet up at Lake Hefiner and although it was still very windy we made do and had a blast!

A wonderful Maternity

I have the honor of capturing this wonderful couples journey over the next year (and hopefully beyond) B&A are part of my baby plan so get useto seeing them around here! I have known both now for over seven years and my husband has known them since childhood. "B" is goofy and you can never get him to be serious about ANYTHING and "A" is one of the most amazing, caring, loving indivduals I know! She is going to make an amazing momma (don't worry he is going to be a great dad too!) Here is a small preview of a couple from our fun shoot this past Tuesday. I will be showing more in the next week or so!

Robert & Saree'

A long overdue preview to a wonderful couple!!! I met Robert and Saree' in Vegas in Feb for their engagement session on the strip and it was a BLAST! Well in March they came back to Oklahoma for the renewal of their vows in front of their family and friends and I was very honored to be included! Here is a preview for you and the rest will be following shortly!

Pout/Lush Combo weekend

I had the honor of having Leah come to town a few weeks back and we teamed up on a wedding and 6 boudior sessions (plus a seminar) in three days. Although we were very very busy we had an absolute blast! I picked out two of my favorite images to give you a preview of what the Lush side of Sweet Dream Photos is all about. I believe in classy images when creating that something special for your significant other........

WOW Little "A" is turning 1!

I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. S&B came in for their Maternity session exactly one year ago tomorrow!

You may remember Little A from previous sessions but our time together yesterday was special. It was celebrating her upcoming first birthday! We started indoors and had some fun with the Spring/Easter set and then outside to run off a little energy before we gave her her very own cake to do what she wanted with. It was very sweet. She was very "clean" with it and really just sort of wanted to play and explore instead (which is typical of any 1 year old!) but she got into it a little bit!

We had a lot of fun and I can't wait to have her come visit me many more times in this next year!

Sardis/Herell Wedding

I am finally getting caught up, ok ok thats not true but I am trying to at least!!!!


Jamie an Corey just returned from their honeymoon and I am sure hoping they have been stalking my blog waiting for their preview!!! (Which I know Jamie and I am sure she has :) )

Corey and Jamie I want you to know what an honor it was to be a part of your special day! I have known Jamie now for about 5 years (or longer) and she is such an amazing person!!! Corey from the times we have met and spoke I can tell how special you are and how great you two are together.

Corey and Jamie met in 2007 during OU/Texas weekend thru a mutual friend and the connection was instantly there! Corey was living in Texas and Jamie here in Oklahoma but they made it work, seeing eachother every chance they got! Corey drove up and surprised Jamie on August 3, 2008 before Church (one of the few weekends that they didnt get to see eachother) and popped the question......

I wish you two the very best in Texas an hope I get to hang out with you when you make it back up this way...

FINALLY!!!

I finally get to show off Jamie's Bridal Session!!! We had a blast that day, met downtown at the Colcord Hotel and then went over to the Gardens from some fun shots!!!

Busy few days!

I got back from my trip on Friday and let me tell you I have been running ever since.  I had a wedding Saturday that was beautiful!!!  I am working on getting a preview put together now!  I also had 6 shoots between Sunday and Monday and then a seminar on Monday night.  I spent today trying to get back on schedule with the kids and life and all that.  So stay tuned lots of blogging and new things to come!!!

Engagement Session on VEGAS STRIP!!!

WOW What a blast!  This couple was AMAZING!  And so fun to work with!  I am shooting their "wedding" in March here in Oklahoma and I cannot wait!

OH MY GOSH

Well as many of my readers know I am in Vegas for the WPPI! And let me tell you I am having a freaking blast!!!!! I have learned so much and seen so many new products and options and my oh my does the list go on and on!!!

I have one more night here in which I plan on spending time with my husband Shawn and my buddy Steve from Tulsa and also try to hook up and network with a few other photographers!

But let me tell you things are about to change at SDP and for the better. I have learned so much about this business through so many of the people I have looked up to for so long. Their classes were amazing!!! I took one class with Judy Hailey and let me tell you she ROCKED!!!! WOW I walked away with so much from it! I saw so many new products that I will be introducing in the next few weeks, met some of the wonderful people I currently use for products and it was so wonderful to put a face with a voice.

I found a wonderful new company in Tulsa that I will be calling many times for a new AWESOME product I plan on putting together!!! I can go on and on about what and who and all that but I will save some excitement for later.

On that note I am so ready to go home and see my babies and hold them! My wonderful sister in Phoenix has been keeping them for this past week and they have had a blast! I owe her big and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family support with this business, without them I would not be able to do all that I do!!! (Thank you so much)

I also cannot WAIT to see Leah on Saturday for our 4 days of nonstop work!!! I am SOOOOO EXCITED to shoot Jamie and Cory's wedding on Saturday and FINALLY be able to share with you all the wonderful images from her bridal session!!! It was amazing and Jamie ROCKS! She looked stunning, Cory if your reading this be prepared to cry when you see your BEAUTIFUL bride for the first time on Saturday.

Sunday is the Pout/Lush sessions... Have you booked yet??? I have 3 spots left!!!!!!!! HURRY and book!!!!!!!!

Monday followed by a seminar and model shoot! Tuesday Leah goes home :( so sad! BUT on a good note I will get to sit and relax and breath and think about all the great things I get to show you all!!!!!!

OH OH OH I almost competly forgot to tell you all about my engagement session on the strip!!! WOW it was a blast. I hooked up with my wonderful wonderful clients and brought along some of my fav photographers I FINALLY met out here and we rocked it!! Images should be up for a preview in a few days!!!

Another Hello

WOW this week has been busy! I met with two wonderful couples the past few days about their upcoming September weddings! It seems bridal season is under full swing and has kept me very very busy!!!!
I leave Monday for Phoenix to spend sometime with my family and the NBA All star game and then its off to LAS VEGAS for the WPPI! I cannot wait to network and attend classes and learn more and get tons of NEW and fun ideas!

Don't forget about the Boudior shoot coming up as well! I know some of you have already booked but time is running out and spaces are filling up!
